Amazing!!!

Greeting from Cabaret, Haiti
Wow !!!  Friday, we finally met the team together in Miami.  3 of 9 are deaf and one of them are computer tech(doesnt know any sign language) then the rest are either know ASL or interpreter. Then few to Haiti and met another person name Kathryn (( she arrived a day early and will be staying for 2 weeks to help Haitian Deaf community while Kyle (American coordinator for Haiti Deaf community) which is on personal break)).
Then we went to tent city in east of PAP(Port-au-Prince) to visit deaf community that lost their homes from earthquakes in Jan 2010. Its a temporary homes for them until the houses in Leveque is available for each families.
Then we went thru the worst traffic I ever been in . Looks like there were 100 vehicles in one spots. And no where to move a vehicle because everyone is going in different direction and stuck in the middle and no where to go while all vehicles are behind or sides by sides. WOW what a mess we went thru and finally got out in that area after about 30 minutes stuck.
And went to Cabaret where the guest house is located. The house has 2 floors and 5 bedrooms.. We were kinda exhausted from long flights and trip to guesthouse from airport.
Today, we went to Leveque to visit deaf community that were moved into new homes from tent city in PAP. Another WOW,  seeing and meeting LOTS of deaf Haitian. Some signs Haiti sign language. Some sign ASL, some signs Home Language. Its amazing to talk with them.  10 new families moved into new homes TODAY. Horray!!!  They were so happy and exciting to have a permanent houses.
Another amazing !!!  Hearing church where deaf Haitian attended with interpreter asked ONE of our deaf who is a Pastor to give a sermon Tomorrow service.  Wow Amazing what God has done for Deaf community..
We split up into 3 groups (one deaf in each group) visited each homes to talk with them to let know them know there will be DEAF pastor giving sermon. Their eyes were wide open and exciting to come tomorrow morning.  It means a lot to the community that Deaf can do anything after meeting 3 of us.. Give them a inspiring  feeling.. Then let them know there will be workshop on Monday and Tuesday if they are interesting in one of 3 workshop.  I will be teaching "Small Group Leadership" and Tamla(deaf lady) will be teaching about Book of Ruth. Chris will be teaching about Jesus..
Kathryn and Sara will be teaching CODA(children of deaf adult) or any hearing signer want to learn more ASL to be interpreter for deaf community.  Another Chris (deaf Pastor) will be working with Haiti deaf pastor (in training).
Then we came back to guest house exhausting from being under sun all day. I guess my bald head is full of sunburn. OOPS!!  Forgot my hat today..
We will have to get up early to go Leveque for church service at 7:30 then meeting other people to explain what the workshop will be about and have them sign up on which workshop they want to attend on Monday and/or Tuesday.
Good night from Caberet, Haiti....
